- Our founder is Wafa Jamil a Swedish-Palestinian filmmaker born and raised in occupied Gaza. With over 15 years of experience in film production, she has dedicated her career to highlighting human rights issues and exploring themes of identity in her work.
Her latest documentary, Coffee for All Nations, was critically acclaimed and won several international awards. The film has been translated into six languages, reaching a global audience.
In addition to her documentary work, she produced the My Life is a Film project in cooperation with Stockholm Municipality, empowering local youth to tell their own stories through film. She has also worked as a director and producer for numerous media production companies, including Wattan TV, Qatar TV, Kuwait TV, NHK, and Channel 4 (UK).
She is an active member of Nordic Women in Film and serves on the board of Filmcentrum Riks in Sweden, contributing to the advancement of the film industry and advocating for greater representation and diversity in media.
